Well I have to say, although these aren't quality photos because you just can't get close enough to the eagles, I am so glad I drove that far to witness the fledger-to be on the edge of the nest and the father trying to keep him up there. Possibly because we were there and he sensed danger, although it was so far away. I decided not to trespass on some persons property to get closer or disturb the eagle family. 500mm was not enough. Maybe that's why photographers are never there. It probably would take a 700mm lens to get really great shots with detail.
