I use a 4 year old Sony V1 that has infrared shooting built in with an added r72 filter and adaptor to fit it over the "nightshot" mode.
This website tells you how to have a camera converted to infrared permanently. And some tutes.
The older sony cameras come with it built in. The sony 717, the V1 and V3
I believe the 828 also. But the V3 is the best with 7 mpxls so you can get postersize photos.
The processing is a little bit complicated, but I found just standard sepia type infrareds are pretty easy, just change to greyscale and use brighten and contrasts.
To add color back in, you need to learn the tools in "Hues/Saturation/lightness
just ask if you have questions.
