I made this forum for anyone who loves photography, and also so local people in Orange County can schedule local shoots, meet others and share photos of our area. We'd love to see shoots from your day! I am a member of Photo Deviants Club of Orange County, California. Also a lover of the nature here in Orange County. My two favorite hang outs are the SJPonds in Irvine and Back Bay. Bolsa Chica is also a great place nearby for shorebirds and raptors. I use two main cameras, a Canon 20D, 40D and numerous lenses, [too many, lol] and also a smaller sony V1 for infrared photos. I use mainly Paint Shop Pro for photo editing, and do this for a hobby, mostly. Have spent 5 years in digital art, off and on. My favorite things to do are photographing nature, night scenes, infrareds and still life. I love birding and the beach/surf. I've been into digital photography for about a year now, mainly nature and wildlife. I love macro and bird photography in particular. Looking forward to lots of fun and sharing here.

Posts: 105 08/20/07 15:51:36	Since i made this board, I have had the opportunity to meet quite a few bird enthusiasts, and nature lovers locally. It's really been nice to meet others who enjoy the outdoors and nature photography. In one season, I';ve learned alot about the local wildlife, had close up shots of Coyotes, Peregrine falcons, Kestral Kites, Red Tailed and Red Shouldered Hawks, Harrier hawks, American Kestrels, Many Ospreys, their nests, Great Egret, Blue Herons, and numerous other unusual captures like below here, the Bishops Weaver, which was a thrill to have him land so nearby.
